Food Street
There are so many halal food in Nakhon Si Thammarat i can easily found it everywhere. In front of the university gate there is a market that sell many kinds of food, clothes, and many things. We usually go there after we finished the school around 16.00 or 17.00. We went to the market together, Me myself, Anna my friend from the same university, Marvy and Jessica the student teachers from Philippines, and Ala and Elsi, the student teachers from Pdang, Indonesia. It was our routines everyday, we have to buy meal for our dinner.
There are so many delicious foods, even my weight increased 2 kilograms because i ate a lot there :D. There are vegetables, yellow rice (my favourite meal), Chayen or we call it in Indonesia Thai Tea, i like Chayen so much ! There are also fried chicken, corn, salad, donuts, ah there are so many delicious food in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Here is our food review video :
Nakhon Si Thammarat Night Market
We also went to NST Night Market with Marvy, Jessica, My mentor, and Jessica’s mentor. There are so many things which are sold in the night market and they are cheap. There are so many street food, even the insects. There are so many accessories shop and clothes. Not only the things that attracted my attention, but the situation on the market also really good. There are so many musician who played music, even we saw a fantastic students band who played popular song. We also watched Thai traditional dance, it was very great. You have to watch this video :
Tie Dying
We joined the one day trip that was provided by the receiving university NSTRU. We visited many places one of them is Tie Dying. We did tie dying in a vactory of tie dying product. There is an instructor who guide us to make the pattern in our fabric, that was interesting. The coloring ingredients is not chemical, they use natural ingredients, form mangosteen, rambutan, and many more. Here is the video :
Wat Phra Mahathat Temple
Wat Phra Mahathat Temple is a must visited place in Nakhon si Thammarat. It is like the symbol of Nakhon si Thammarat. Besides as a tourism destination, this temple also used as a praying temple for buddhist. The temple is so beautiful with white paint and the tree surrounding make the view was great.
The buddhist people who come there will take flowers and pray in the praying area. There are so many tourists and also local people visiting this beautiful tample.
